First published in 1960 and revised in 1964 the blurb for Facing Retirement read: “Mature men and women are not afraid of advancing years. More and more seek to prepare themselves for retirement so that they may then find all the happiness they can. ... .” Today it can be read and enjoyed in its historical context.
